While cognitive skills are an important part of the resilience equation, mind-body skills like guided visualization are equally important.

Guided visualization is, in my opinion, the easiest form of meditation.

 

People say they aren't good at meditating, but if you give your mind something simple and soothing to focus on, it's easy to experience the mental, emotional and physical benefits of this powerful tool.

This is one of my favorites... if I do say so myself. 

TIME OUT

Take a few minutes from your hectic, busy day to relax and float down a river . . . leaving your cares and worries behind.
